Crop an image

Open it in Preview, drag a box over the part you want to keep, and press ⌘K to crop. For many images to the same size, sips crops each from the centre in one command.

Without Terminal

  1. Open the image in Preview.
  2. Drag a rectangle over the part to keep.
  3. Press ⌘K (Tools → Crop), then save.

In one command

Crop every JPG to a centred 1080×1080 square (on copies):
