Copy a file’s text to the clipboard
pbcopy puts anything piped into it on the clipboard, so pbcopy < notes.txt copies the whole file, ready to paste. pbpaste does the reverse.
How
Copy a whole text file:
pbcopy < notes.txt
Save whatever is on the clipboard into a file:
pbpaste > clipboard.txt
