Check an image’s dimensions

Select the image in Finder and press ⌘I — More Info shows its dimensions. In Terminal, sips -g pixelWidth -g pixelHeight prints them for any number of images.

Without Terminal

  1. Select the image in Finder.
  2. Press ⌘I; Dimensions are under More Info.
  3. Or open it in Preview and press ⌘I there.

In one command

Width and height of every PNG in the folder:

sips -g pixelWidth -g pixelHeight *.png
