Make a JSON file readable

The built-in plutil reads JSON and writes it back indented: plutil -convert json -r -o - file.json prints a readable version without changing the file.

How

Print a readable version:

plutil -convert json -r -o - data.json

Save it as a new file:

plutil -convert json -r -o data-pretty.json data.json

plutil also tells you if the JSON is broken — the error names the problem, which is often the quickest way to find a stray comma.

Or just ask Titan
Make this JSON file readable and tell me what’s in it. Do it with Titan

Titan is an AI that lives on your computer: tell it what you need and it does it while you watch — you press Return, nothing runs by itself. What is Titan?

Titan isn’t on this computer yet. Get Titan, then press the button again — the task will be waiting, typed in.
