Compare two files for differences

For text files, diff shows exactly which lines differ, and cmp -s answers simply whether two files are identical. For Word documents, Word’s Review → Compare does the same with formatting.

How

Show the lines that differ:

diff draft-v1.txt draft-v2.txt

Just say whether two files are identical (any kind of file):

cmp -s a.pdf b.pdf && echo same || echo different
Or just ask Titan
What changed between the two versions of the contract? Do it with Titan

Titan is an AI that lives on your computer: tell it what you need and it does it while you watch — you press Return, nothing runs by itself. What is Titan?

Titan isn’t on this computer yet. Get Titan, then press the button again — the task will be waiting, typed in.
