Pull email addresses out of text
grep with a simple address pattern lists every email address in a text file, and sort -u removes repeats. Save a document as plain text first if it is a Word file.
How
Every address, each once:
grep -Eo '[[:alnum:]._%+-]+@[[:alnum:].-]+\.[[:alpha:]]{2,}' notes.txt | sort -u
A pattern this simple can miss unusual addresses and pick up things like image@2x.png. Skim the list before emailing anyone.
