Find your IP address
Your local address (on your home or office network) is in System Settings → Wi-Fi → Details, or ipconfig getifaddr en0 in Terminal. Your public address — the one websites see — comes from your router, and any “what is my IP” site shows it.
Without Terminal
- Open System Settings → Wi-Fi.
- Click Details next to the network you are on.
- The IP address is listed under TCP/IP.
In one command
