Turn a timestamp into a date
date -r turns a Unix timestamp (seconds since 1970) into a date in your time zone; date +%s gives the timestamp for right now.
How
A timestamp as a date and time:
date -r 1700000000 "+%Y-%m-%d %H:%M"
Timestamps in milliseconds (13 digits) need dividing by 1000 first:
date -r $((1700000000000 / 1000))
